The benefits of a positive psychology and strengths-based approach are huge. People are likely to be happier and more effective in their roles if they focus on how to make more use of their strengths as opposed to working on their deficits. We believe coaching should take this type of approach, which is why our next CPD focuses on ‘Using Positive Psychology in Coaching’. This CPD will provide tools and approaches to using a strengths-based approach to your coaching sessions and the issues which your clients may bring.
The CPD will take place as an interactive webinar running from 10am-12pm on Thursday 23rd April. It will cover:
- The benefits of taking strengths-based approach to coaching
- Learning from other coaches’ experiences of using a strengths-based approach
- Tools and techniques to help you take a strengths-based approach in a coaching conversation
We are also running an interactive group supervision webinar, where you can work with other coaches to find solutions to real issues that you or they bring. Even if you don’t have an issue yourself, you will get lots of learning from hearing from and helping other coaches.
This supervision session will take place on Tuesday 5th May, from 2pm–4pm.
Both of these sessions are available to anyone who has previously undertaken a coaching or mentoring qualification (even if you haven’t yet submitted your final assignments). If you would like to sign up to either of the webinars, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will be in contact. The cost of each of these sessions will be £49.95 + VAT (or £80 + VAT for both).
