In our work as executive coaches, we work with a huge range of individuals and love the fact that coaching allows us to adapt our approach to whatever the person needs to accelerate their development and growth. However, it sometimes becomes apparent that pure coaching isn’t enough as a skills gap exists that’s preventing the coachee from being their best self. 

Though this may be more common with those newer to leadership, it’s not uncommon for some highly successful individuals to have risen to senior leadership positions without the opportunity to participate in extensive leadership development and they may have some gaps in their skills. Often these gaps can be around issues such as influencing others, handling difficult conversations or making an impact.
