The Issue: A large number of Managers, often with many years of experience, were finding themselves unable to climb the career ladder, having never had the opportunity to achieve a formal qualification.

Our Solution: As an accredited Centre of the Institute of Leadership and Management, Azure were able to design and deliver a practical leadership development programme, with the added stretch of assessment to achieve an ILM Award in Management.

Managers from organisations as diverse as charities, voluntary organisations, local building companies, as well as local manufacturing companies such as Marshalls and Next Distribution all participated to form highly energised learning groups.

Results: Over 50 participants have now gained the qualification as well as lots of new and practical management skills to put to use at work. A number have since achieved their long term aspiration to be promoted into a more challenging role. Many have progressed from the Level 4 Award in Management to the Level 5. A significant number now have plans to progress towards achieving a degree in Management.
