Maria has over 25 years experience as a Human Resources Advisor and as a general manager and is at ease working with colleagues at all levels within an organisation. Her extensive operational and managerial experience delivering a business partner role includes a proven record of leading successful programmes involving workforce redesign and restructure, budget management and stakeholder engagement.
A qualified coach and mentor, Maria is skilled in employee relations, organisational review, business change and governance. Maria has led various business change projects including outsourcing, TUPE transfers, workforce planning and people development and has a proven record of turning around underperforming employees, projects and departments.

Prior to joining Azure, Maria worked for a large Metropolitan Authority where her specialisms were employee relations, consultation and negotiation.
Maria is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), is a member of the European Coaching and Mentoring Council (EMCC), and holds a Fellowship membership (FInstLM of the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
